First time to Denmark and the city of Copenhagen, very pleasant time! Original plan was to go back in 2020, however I couldn't due to COVID later on at the time, so I was very happy to finally make it 4 years later! First off, the location was very convenient, very easy walk from the main Central Station (Kobenhavn HB). You could get either the Metro (local subway), the "S-Train" (the "S-Tog" in Danish, more for the outlying areas) and what's referred to as just the "Train", which is the more long distance rail. You can take it to CPH Airport, also the Metro also goes to CPH. However I recommend just walking aound! This location is right on the water, you can basically walk north along the river where you'll eventually get to the famous Nyhavn Canal and Amalienborg Palace, then eventually "The Little Mermaid". Very cool architecture and statues all around. I also recommend visiting Tivoli Gardens as well, very fun atmosphere. Food and snacks are plentiful, you can visit the several Lagkagehuset bakeries for a true Danish with coffee (also there are 2 in the Kobenhavn HB train station). For more of a local feel, I took the Metro to Sundby Station (M1 Train) which is across the street from a Nature Preserve where you can explore the trails. Also I took the M2 Metro Train to the Amager Strand station to visit the Amager Strand Beach Park. All very nice and recommended! Finally in terms of the Hotel itself, very welcoming, professional and helpful staff! I got there a little too early and they held my bags while I just explored for an hour. My Room was perfect, I truly enjoyed the view every morning waking up over the river. I really want to thank Iryna, Dlhav & Oksana for all their help with my Room while I was out enjoying Copenhagen, very much appreciated it! I highly recommend this Marriott location, I had a memorable time here in Copenhagen, which will stay with me for a very long time...!

This was our second stay at Marriott Copenhagen. The room size is great and the staff could not be more helpful. Although we get a city view, this time it was just the hotel opposite but then we are out most of the time so not worried. If we wanted a view, we would get a Water view but this is not important to us. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and all requests are met with a smile and dealt with immediately without any fuss. It is great that there is an ice machine on each floor. We like that we can walk to Central Station, Tivoli, Nyhavn and the town centre. To go further afield, there are plenty of buses within a few minutes walk. There are always Taxis outside the hotel if you don't want to walk. The hotel is very quiet and although they are undergoing renovations at the moment, this did not interfere with our stay and we did not hear any noise. The rooms will be renovated shortly and although our was not in a bad condition, it does need a little facelift. It would be nice if they were showers as we did find it a little difficult to climb in and out of the bath as we only take showers but did not need a handicap room. Would like more pillow choice as they were too soft but the bed was extremely comfortable. We would also have liked a smaller breakfast option as found it very expensive for what we ate. Overall very happy with this hotel and would not consider staying elsewhere in Copenhagen.

Arrived early AM and booked previous night to ensure room was ready. Well it wasn’t. Multiple confirmations prior to arrivals and when checking in. No rollaway as requested. After calling and waiting the plan to get a quick rest was abandoned. Effectively paid for a night for luggage storage. Room lacked towel for each quest on reservation and required multiple calls to receive. Front desk staff are friendly but there are operational misses. Rooms themselves are basic, textbook Marriott. Billed as a 5 star, not expecting a St Regis, but rooms and furnishings are dingy and dated. Note there is construction going on so expect noise. They should have posted this as part of reservation disclaimers. Perhaps the construction will make the rooms more pleasant, but will do nothing to sort the service. There was a form letter from the GM with an email in the room. Not sure if it’s in every room or just elite members. Sending email got no response, so why even have it.

Eight night stay was just fantastic. We had a couple of small issues arise, and they were immediately sorted. The staff is excellent. Customer service is top notch. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel's location makes it easy to grab a bus anywhere. We had fun watching people plunge into the canal.

I had an amazing 11 night stay at the Copenhagen Marriott during a recent business trip. While the hotel is going through renovations, I found it to cause very limited disruption or inconvenience to my stay. As a lifetime platinum elite member I received an upgraded water view corner room on the 6th floor. The room was very spacious and had an incredible view. It was also equipped with ample heating and a small window that could be opened, making me very comfortable. The executive lounge offerings for breakfast, desserts, and happy hour were more than enough to make me and my work colleague extremely satisfied. The team at breakfast were super nice and greeted us with a smile and by name each and everyday. The lounge is also very spacious. Plenty of room to spread out and work without being in anyone’s way. Because we had to drive 40 mins to work each day we did require the use of a car. There is a convenient parking garage adjacent to the hotel that makes things easy. The cost was about $50 USD and the pay station allows you to pay for multiple days which makes getting in and out easier. The parking spots are very tight so the smaller the car, the better. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown Copenhagen, Tivoli Gardens, and many residential areas across the canal. Walking or biking to places of interest are very easy. There is a bus stop right out front where the hop on hop off bus attraction can pick you up. There are also plenty of cabs that stay in front of the hotel at all hours so transportation from this location is easy. The hotel restaurant and bar have very limited dining options so I recommend eating elsewhere until the renovations are done. While the cocktails served were delightful, the dinner entrees we had were less than edible. That is really my only complaint about the entire stay. Lastly, the rooms are also a little bit dated in current state but nothing overtly poor. The renovations when complete I’m sure will fix that. Everything worked as it should in my room. The daily cleaning service was superb! They added a personal touch each day with a note and some candies. The front desk staff were also very friendly and the check in process was simple and easy. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit.
